UKEF Female Founder Cohort visit Tilz Prospertias in Leeds

This week, members of our UK Export Finance (UKEF) Female Founder Export Accelerator visited Tilz Prosperitas, a UK-based multinational e-commerce and B2B company, in Leeds for an inspiring and practical session focused on growth, funding and international expansion.

The visit gave founders the chance to step inside a fast-growing business and see first-hand how ambition, strategy and strong leadership come together in practice.

Tilz Prosperitas shared their journey, from early-stage challenges to scaling with confidence. The session covered honest lessons on building resilience, accessing finance, and preparing for export. It also highlighted the importance of having the right support network around you as your business grows.

For many founders, the visit was a valuable opportunity to ask real-world questions and learn from lived experience. Topics included navigating funding options, building credibility in new markets, and staying focused while scaling.

The cohort also benefited from peer-to-peer discussion. Founders shared insights, challenges and wins, creating a supportive space to learn from one another. These connections are a key part of the Accelerator programme and help build long-term confidence and collaboration.

Visits like this bring the Female Founder Export Accelerator to life. They bridge the gap between theory and reality and give founders practical tools they can take back to their own businesses.

A big thank you to Tilz Prosperitas for hosting and sharing their journey. The cohort left Leeds energised, informed and ready to take the next steps in their export plans.
