Lifted Ventures, the female-founded investment network championing women entrepreneurs, is delighted to announce a strategic partnership with prominent law firm Gordons and leading wealth manager RBC Brewin Dolphin. This partnership is designed to catalyse investment into women-led businesses and to grow the number of women investors in the UK’s early-stage funding ecosystem.
In addition to supporting women founders, the partnership places a strong emphasis on encouraging and equipping more women to become active angel investors, helping to reshape the investment landscape from both sides of the table. Through this collaboration, female entrepreneurs will benefit from expert legal, wealth
management and strategic investment guidance, while aspiring women investors will gain access to educational tools, professional networks, and opportunities to deploy capital into high-potential women-led startups.
Jordan Dargue, Co-Founder of Lifted Ventures, commented: ‘To truly close the gender funding gap, we must support both sides of the investment equation – female founders and female funders. This partnership gives us the scale, expertise, and shared mission to do just that.’
Helen Oldham, Co-Founder of Lifted Ventures, added: ‘The underrepresentation of women in investment is a systemic issue, and we’re proud to be working with partners who are committed to long-term change. Together, we’re not only backing brilliant women-led businesses, we’re building a new generation of women investors.’
Liz Hancock, Strategic Partnership Manager at RBC Brewin Dolphin, said: ‘We’re
passionate about empowering women to take control of their financial futures. By
collaborating with Lifted Ventures, we aim to provide aspiring women investors with the knowledge and confidence to participate meaningfully in early-stage investing.’
Amy Pierechod, Partner at Gordons, said: ‘Our firm has a strong track record of supporting innovative entrepreneurs, and we’re excited to bring our legal expertise to this mission. Championing female founders and investors aligns perfectly with our values and our belief in inclusive economic growth.’
The partnership will launch a series of national events, workshops and pitch opportunities throughout 2025, designed to connect women founders with aligned investors, and provide practical support to those entering the investment space for the first time.
