Lifted Ventures 2025 Impact Report

We’re proud to share our 2025 Impact Report, a reflection of a year defined by growth, innovation, and bold ambition for women-led businesses across the UK.

This year, Lifted Ventures has continued to champion female founders, mobilising capital, creating opportunities, and building ecosystems that enable ambitious women to scale their businesses.

From angel investments to accelerator programmes, policy engagement to community events, 2025 has been a year of meaningful progress.

Key Highlights from 2025:

  • 15 companies supported across 17 deals, raising a total of £9.37 million, including £278,700 from Lifted Ventures.
  • Continued expansion of the Lifted Angel Network, with 41 new angels joining in 2025, making Lifted the largest, regional, women focussed angel network in England.
  • Completion of 11 female founder education programmes, through 67 workshops, providing 2,574 hours of support to 135 female founders, enabling them to access capital and scale.
  • Successful delivery of Angel Education programmes in Midlands, Manchester and Yorkshire, alongside a virtual advanced education programme, equippng 106 women with beginner or advanced investment knowledge and skills.
  • National recognition for impact, with Lifted Ventures named Investing in Women Initiative of the Year at the Growth Investor Awards 2025, celebrating our leadership in mobilising capital and support for women-led businesses across the UK.

The report also sets out our 2025-2027 Manifesto, detailing our strategic priorities and the steps we’ll take to ensure even more founders have the resources, support, and networks they need to succeed and we continue to build capacity in women to invest in other women in regions outside of London.
